Insane 51

Stathis Tsavalias, also known as Insane51 is a visual artist known for his intricate and ever-innovative artworks that push the ideas of muralism and contemporary art. His more popular works though, surrounds his usages of overlay murals.

Born in Greece in 1992, he began creating graffiti in 2006. He has formal education from the Athens School of Fine Arts and has also studied graphic design. His early works focused on experimenting with color and form through various techniques. As his career progressed, he specialized in photorealism and overlaying images. Insane51 often combines two images, using red and blue overlays to create a three-dimensional, illusionary effect. His work can be found throughout Europe, America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, and beyond.
